How ELO works

Everyone starts at 1000. After each match the two teams' average ELO is compared: beating a stronger team gives up to 30 points, beating a weaker one less. A player who leaves takes a loss and 15 extra points off; if the rest of their team loses, they lose only half. A substitute gets the share of the rounds they played.
