Persian Gulf PGCS

Launcher and anti-cheat

Persian Gulf launcher

A live server list with real ping, the full-server queue, friends and chat, and an anti-cheat that only asks Windows questions, all in one program. It takes a minute to install.

Coming soon
  • Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit

The launcher and anti-cheat come out on launch day, together with the site and the servers. Our servers never open, even for a day, without the anti-cheat.

The launcher's home page The launcher's home page Ping 12 ms Anti-cheat: your system is safe

What does it do?

Real ping

Each server's ping is measured from your own PC, not one general number from the site.

One-click connect

Pick a server and press Connect; the game opens by itself and you are in.

Queue for full servers

Server full? Stay in the queue; the moment a slot frees you are joined automatically.

Friends and chat

See where your friends are, join them, invite them and chat; the messages are the same as on the site.

Notifications

Support replies, premium, tournaments and your queue turn, all in one place.

Profile and rank

XP, rank, the last thirty days and the maps you play most.

Network troubleshooter

High ping or can't connect? It shows where the problem is and how to fix it.

The anti-cheat is inside it

You can't join a server while a cheat is open; and it tells you everything with the reason and the fix.

Here's how it looks

Installing, step by step

  1. 1

    Download

The installer downloads from our own server; on the national network too.

  2. 2

    Install

Double-click it. It doesn't install for the whole PC and needs no admin; only for this user.

  3. 3

Sign in with your site account

Your browser opens and you only approve. If you are signed in on the site it is one click.

  4. 4

    Play

The anti-cheat stays on in the background; closing the window sends it to the Windows tray.

What exactly does the anti-cheat check? ←

Common questions

Why does Windows warn during the install?

Windows shows a “SmartScreen” warning for programs without an official Microsoft signing certificate. That certificate is not issued to us because of sanctions; so we sign the file ourselves with our own key; the file downloads from our own server. Press “More info” → “Run anyway”.

Does the anti-cheat have anything to do with my Steam account or VAC?

No. The anti-cheat never touches the memory of cs2.exe, writes nothing into it and changes no game file; it only asks Windows itself. The details are on the anti-cheat page.

My antivirus says the file is suspicious

Programs without an official certificate sometimes get false warnings. If you downloaded the file from this page (our own server) you can add an exception in your antivirus.

Does it work on Linux or Mac?

No, the launcher and anti-cheat support only Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit), and they are needed to join the servers.

What if Steam or the international internet is down?

The site and the launcher open on the domestic internet (SMS-code sign-in exists too), but the game itself needs Steam to connect.

How do I remove it?

In Settings → Apps → Installed apps, uninstall “Persian Gulf Launcher”. Settings and logs stay in %LOCALAPPDATA%\PersianGulf and you can delete them.

How do updates work?

The launcher fetches the new version itself, checks it against our signature and tells you; it installs only when you press “Install now”, or when you close the launcher.

Ready?

In a few minutes you are playing on the server.
